What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking a highly motivated People Operations leader, adept at fostering collaboration and a positive work culture with a proven track record of strategic thinking and tactical execution. In this role, your ability to collaborate will be at the forefront of your success, as you work alongside the VP, People in further advancing the People Team function. You will lead strategic initiatives, driving complex global projects while fostering daily operational excellence. As an avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding and drive decisions. You're adept at facilitating executive communication, and providing leadership on HR-related matters.

You will



  • Lead a team of HR Operations professionals, providing direction, support and enabling their success while increasing the team's proficiency in Employee Relations, HR-related Compliance, Immigration, Global Mobility, Benefits operations, Audits and other core operations functions.
  • Develop & implement an innovative and scalable People Operations strategy, optimizing HRIS effectiveness, automation, global processes and HR tools- ensuring they are updated and documented regularly and end users are trained
  • Own the HRIS, analytics and reporting systems- which includes ensuring accurate and timely updates to all people-related data and provide regular analytics and insights.
  • Manage Employee Relations & HR-related Compliance matters personally, when required
  • Stay current with innovative People practices and continue to implement best-in class practices to improve operations effectiveness, as well as local and regional compliance requirements to ensure alignment of operational service delivery and processes.


Your Qualifications



  • 15+ years in People Operations or relevant HR roles with 5+ years leading Global People Operations & 7 years leading Employee Relations
  • MA in related field or MBA preferred but not required; SPHR/SHRM certification a plus
  • Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in global, fast growing, newly public company environments.
  • Proven expertise with HRIS redesign.
  • Highly proficient in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and management team members
  • Exceptional knowledge in North America HR compliance and audit requirements
  • Passion for continuous improvement, driving effectiveness and efficiency
  • Strong service and delivery excellence mindset
  • Ability to adapt with unexpected changes and deal with ambiguity
  • Impeccable judgment and discretion at all times, especially when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to anticipate market trends and take proactive steps to mitigate risk and/or maximize opportunities
  • Ability to direct the work of the team with clarity, delegating as appropriate

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $180,000 to $240,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
