Vaco has partnered with a company looking for an HR Coordinator to join their team!

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support across all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and compliance. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and enhancing the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
    • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, including preparation of orientation materials and conducting orientation sessions.
    • Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Employee Records Management:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and physical files.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal and company record-keeping requirements.
    • Handle requests for employment verification and other employee-related inquiries.
  • Benefits Administration:

    • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and address benefits-related questions.
    • Coordinate with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure accurate benefits administration.
    • Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Assist in preparing and submitting required reports to government agencies.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
    • Support HR Manager in addressing employee relations issues and conducting investigations.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Training and Development:

    • Coordinate training sessions and track employee participation.
    • Assist in the development of training materials and resources.
    • Support the HR Manager in identifying training needs and organizing professional development programs.
  • General HR Support:

    • Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
    • Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager.
    • Perform other administrative duties as required to support the HR department.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems is highly desirable.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
