Senior Financial Analyst - Real Estate

Location:Charlotte, NC

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst - Real Estate to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in financial modeling and analysis related to our current and future real estate projects.

The Senior Financial Analyst - Real Estate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing project budgets, tracking all project expenses in collaboration with the corporate real estate department, and ensuring proper capitalization of expenses with our corporate accounting team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial projections and analyses to evaluate real estate opportunities and investments in current properties.
  • Support the corporate real estate department in tracking project budgets and ensuring timely posting of expenditures in our project database system (Projecto).
  • Collaborate with the corporate accounting department to ensure proper capitalization of projects.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss the status of all real estate projects.
  • Produce summarized reports detailing the investment in each property.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis with a focus on real estate.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • Experience with Projecto or another project database system is a plus.
  • Proficiency with presentation tools and data visualization is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects with strong follow-through skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must submit to and successfully complete a background check and pre-employment drug test.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
