The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Manager is responsible for coordinating HPM's professional education programs, which includes management of the Applied Practice Experience (APEx), student advising, organizational outreach and cultivation, weekly student communication, mock interviews and panel coordination and general operations related to student career development. The Manager will manage budgets related to professional education and related initiatives and will work closely with the faculty who teach the professional development course. This position reports to the Director, Professional Education.

Responsibilities



  • 30% - Student communication and student advising
  • 30% - Program administration
  • 15% - Employer outreach
  • 10% - Database management and evaluations
  • 10% - Other professional education and school-wide events and operations
  • 5% - Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree; 3-years of relevant higher education or healthcare experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; interest in healthcare required
  • Student or career advising experience required
  • Must have flexibility to work different schedules when needed including some weekends and evenings


Preferred Qualifications



  • Five-seven years of relevant higher education or healthcare experience.
