Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $83,600 -$108,500. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. "Off-scale salaries" and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions. Application Window Open date: August 26, 2024 Most recent review date: Tuesday, Oct 15, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Urban Planning and Public Policy (UPPP) at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty member whose research addresses at least one of the following topics: transportation, housing, or public administration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong record of research and teaching and reinforce UPPP's leadership in social justice and sustainability. Priority will be given to applications received by October 15, 2024; however, applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Candidates should have completed a Ph.D. in public administration, public policy, urban planning, economics, geography, sociology, political science or a related field. Candidates who expect to receive a Ph.D. by July 1, 2025 will also be considered.
