Job Summary:



  • Facilitate and implement immigration services by assisting refugees and asylees to:

    • Adjust their immigration status.
    • Complete complicated immigration paperwork.
    • Reunify with family members overseas.
    • Access other legal services.


  • Complete fingerprinting of sponsors for unaccompanied children in the Safe Release Support program.


Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Global Studies, Social Work, Anthropology, or another related field.
  • At least one year of experience working with refugees.
  • Driver's license.
  • Prior Department of Justice or Board of Immigration Appeals accreditation preferred.
  • Writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. Refugee Program, international refugee processing, and familiarity with refugee communities living in the U.S.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
  • Able to develop reports and correspondence of professional quality.
  • The incumbent must have the ability to interact with a wide diversity of clients and must be culturally sensitive.
