Job Opportunity: Dental Assistant at American Pediatric Dental Group
As a Dental Assistant with the American Pediatric Dental Group, you will play a vital role in helping children develop healthy habits and ensuring they have a lifetime of beautiful smiles!

Experience and Qualifications:

Pediatric dental assisting experience is preferred, but we support the training and development of experienced dental assistants.
EFDA certification, CPR, and X-ray certification are required.
Bilingual candidates are preferred.
Our ideal candidate loves kids, is flexible, reliable, and eager to grow professionally.

Work Schedule:

Monday and Thursday: 9:15 AM - 6:30 PM
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:15 AM - 1:30 PM

Education/Credentials:


  • A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is .
  • Radiography requirements according to the state regulations.

Job related experience:


  • Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.
  • Pediatric experience, preferred

Job-related skills/competencies:


  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills- must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate with a pleasant demeanor at all times.
  • Communication - effective written and verbal communication is a must with all staff and management.
  • Must be able to project a capable and professional image- one that is reflective of Company Values.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills- strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.
  • Must have PC skills with an ability to learn and successfully use new software programs as required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is preferred; as well as experience with a fax machine, copy machine, and general office equipment.

Working conditions:


  • Travel between the assigned offices, if needed
  • Attend and participate in all office meetings, continuing education events and morning huddles
