JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry Research, in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Human Research Technologist (Sleep Research Assistant) to assist the sleep research team with various research projects. Candidate will assist in the development of project specific sleep data management documentation. Collaborate with project coordinators, statisticians, clinical investigators, clinical personnel, and other data management personnel to plan and implement sleep data management tasks for research projects. Work Hours: 1st & 2rd shift hours, as required by sleep study schedule, including some weekends. 8a-4p or 2p-10p The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
This position typically requires an Associate's degree or higher (Master's degree preferred) plus 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Comfortable collecting and analyzing biological samples (saliva, urine, blood) and knowledge of phlebotomy desired, but not required. This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, with possibility of refunding. The following clearances must be successfully completed for this position:
