The Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Medical School is seeking to hire a physician allergist as a faculty member in the division of Pediatric Allergy, Immunology and Infectious Diseases. Candidate must have an MD or DO degree and be board-certified or board eligible in pediatric allergy and immunology. We are looking for pediatric allergy and immunology fellowship trained physicians to see patients and mentor students and residents at both outpatient and inpatient locations.
Our physicians provide both ambulatory and inpatient care at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and RWJBarnabas Health facilities. The position may include travelling to offsite locations. We are seeking a candidate who has a passion for teaching, enjoys caring for children with a wide variety of conditions including those who are medically complex. We value leadership. Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
