JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The School of Engineering at Penn State Behrend, has a need for part-time Instructors in engineering disciplines for fall (August) and spring (January). Positions are dependent upon class enrollments; enrollments of less than nine students may necessitate canceling the class and position. Salary is competitive. Responsibilities include using a syllabus and course materials approved by the School of Engineering to teach courses offered in our baccalaureate programs. Required qualifications include: -Evidence of an earned Master of Science degree in an engineering discipline or a baccalaureate degree with significant industrial experience -Evidence of a commitment to excellence in teaching including the use of current technology -Evidence of a commitment to working collegially and with individuals from diverse backgrounds, commensurate with experience.
