JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The African Studies Program at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time lecturer openings for Spring andSummer 2024. Job Duties Part-time lecturers will teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in African Studies. Requirements and Qualifications The candidate should possess at least a master's degree or its equivalent, or be an active candidate for a terminal degree, in a related academic field; a Master's degree in a related field is strongly preferred. Candidates with a Ph.D. in a related field may also be assigned to teach an upper-level undergraduate course. These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments. Lecturers normally teach one to two courses. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until all of the vacancies are filled.
