We are hiring a Program Management Office Manager to support a NAVSEA program for Ship Integraity and Performance Engineering based in Washington, DC in a hybrid capacity.
What will you do?
Level I
- Provides daily program, analytical, and management support to senior level personnel.
- Provides detail oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies. They may also be involved in various administrative tasks.
- Analyze relevant data, which may include funds, labor hours, or expenditures. Develop solutions to problems.
- In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.
- Reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common.
- For some projects, management analysts are retained to help implement the suggestions they have made.
Level II
- Concerned with diverse issues such as top-level strategy, planning, forecasting, resource allocation, scheduling, and the analysis of large databases.
- Provides daily program, analytical, and management support to senior level personnel. Provides detail oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies.
- They may also be involved in various administrative tasks. Define the nature and extent of problems. Analyze relevant data, which may include funds, labor hours, or expenditures.
- Develop solutions to problems. In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.
- Advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets. Measure organizational performance, assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
- May employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
- Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization's spending. Report findings and recommendations to the Government. Reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common. For some projects, management analysts are retained to help implement the suggestions they have made.
Do you have what it takes?
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Level I
- At least 1-2 years of experience and Bachelor's Degree in the field/related area.
Level II
- At least 3-5 years of experience and Bachelor's Degree in the field/related area.
Level III
- At least 4-7 years of experience and Bachelor's Degree in the field/related area.
This position is contingent upon contract award. Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is level I: $54,060-7$9,124 annually, level II: $59,704-$89,891, level III: $62,265-$96,447 which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
