Description

The Clinical Application Specialist provides advanced, physics, and clinical level pre-sales support on Sun Nuclear (SNC) products to internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable on SNC's products with a special focus on SunCHECK Enterprise Software as well as the industry's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Clinical Sales responsibilities:



  • Coordinate with the Enterprise Software Sales Manager to provide remote/on-site clinical assessments and comprehensive functional needs analysis in the US Market
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise Software Sales Manager to provide remote/on-site pre-sales customer demonstrations to highlight the key features and benefits of SNC products, with an emphasis on Enterprise SunCHECK full-platform Software and direct connectivity devices, from a clinical perspective to support US sales growth expectations
  • Coordinate with the ESSM to host customer reference site visits
  • Serve as a Dosimetrist resource for Global Physics initiatives



    • Provide feedback into strategic product planning, market analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.



  • Provide the National Account Sales Team clinical customer support
  • Provide clinical training to the National Accounts Team as needed


  • Assist with identifying potential speakers for meetings and relevant marketing events


  • Assist with marketing initiatives such as PowerPoint presentations, datasheets and other marketing collateral content input
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, scientific talks, and training events as needed.
  • Support multi-departmental team effort to produce research and internal white papers to support product claims when needed


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:



  • Master's degree in medical physics, clinical engineering, or technical related field is preferred
  • Clinical experience preferred
  • Treatment Planning Systems and DICOM expertise
  • Clinical QA cycle expertise including simulation, treatment planning, pre-treatment QA, patient treatment, invivo QA and Machine QA
  • Fluent in English with strong written, verbal communication and listening skills
  • Effectively support and work with all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%
  • Ability to hand carry a 45 pound briefcase without wheels or assistance.
