GENERAL SUMMARY: Physician Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) are graduates of an accredited educational program and are nationally certified and state licensed professionals. The scope of practice is determined by state law and licensure, facility policy, education, professional judgement, personal experience, and practice agreement. Physician assistants are independent prescribers of Schedule II-V controlled substances, using their own DEA number and signature. Highly motivated advanced practice provider to work in the emergency setting caring for patients of all ages including common bedside procedures. This position requires excellent communication, high energy and includes holidays and weekends.
