Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Instructional Assistant Professor and Clinical Assistant Professor-Creating a Pool-TCH Division Name: Academic Affairs Department: School of Teaching and Learning Campus Location: Normal, IL General Summary The School of Teaching and Learning seeks to build a pool of non-tenure-track instructor, clinical instructor, and/or student teaching supervisor applicants to be drawn from during the 2025-2026 academic year. Applications are accepted continuously and reviewed as vacancies become available. There may not be an actual vacancy at the time you apply. Positions are part-time and may only be for one semester at a time, depending on School needs. These positions are represented by the Illinois State University Education Association and may have associated dues or fees. University Benefit Highlights: Additional Information The School of Teaching and Learning is home to four undergraduate teacher preparation programs and three graduate programs. In addition, students from every undergraduate teacher preparation program take courses within our school. Required Qualifications 1. Master's degree or higher required. Desired Qualifications 1. College teaching experience. Work Hours Varies Proposed Starting Date TBD Salary Rate / Pay Rate Starting at $1225 per month based on Part Time Equivalent for a 3-credit hour course. Starting at $1,350 per month based on a Part Time Equivalent for a 3-credit hour course with an earned doctorate.
