This position is a dual role. Primary focus is the lead financial role for the Services Business in our Technologies North America Group and reports directly to the North American Controller, with a dotted line to the VP of Services. The Accounting Manager - Cost & Services position is responsible for maintaining, analyzing, and advising of all service-related P&L and B/S transactions in the US. This can include service order and contract settlements, review and analysis of service operational spending, labor efficiencies and margin performance. The role concurrently serves as a partner to the business, providing leadership and support to the NA Group Finance teams. This position will support a variety of Finance and Accounting subjects, including cost and government accounting, SOX and inventory support.

Duties:



  • Provide monthly financial analysis and identify trends relating to performance, spending, profitability analysis and product mix for the Services and Technology teams.
  • Ability to budget and re-forecast revenue, expense and gross margin on a routine basis.
  • Develop and maintain best practices to ensure accurate and timely reporting, automation, and standardization of processes.
  • Provide analytical support to drive better decision making and business performance, identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Partner with accounting and finance teams, corporate FP&A, and operations team.
  • Prepare month-end and ad-hoc financial modeling, analysis, and projections.
  • Cost & Government accounting support, including SOX, rate and material cost development.
  • Support annual physical inventories, as needed



Essential Requirements:



  • 7 - 10 years of experience in Accounting/Finance.
  • SAP or other ERP and planning system experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Be able to articulate three financial statements.
  • Experience with Power BI or other advanced data analytics tools.
  • Detail oriented and strong attention to detail.
  • Cross-functional teamwork experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments.



Education Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience required.
  • MBA/CPA/CMA a plus but not required.
