Mental Health Professional, Licensed

We are currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional in our Mother-Baby Partial Hospital Program. This part time role will work 40 hours within a pay period on a days schedule.

Under general supervision, a mental health professional will provide direct psychiatric treatment for persons living with mental illnesses, evaluate care and programming, and develop programming as needed. If performing this role within 6 months of licensure as a DHS defined mental health professional, these functions will be performed under clinical supervision by an appropriate supervisor as indicated by HCMC, state statue, licensure standards, and the Department of Human Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead multidisciplinary care team rounds
  • Provide mental health services including initial and ongoing screeners, assessments, diagnosis, treatment plans (and treatment plan updates), psychoeducation, treatment, crisis services, referrals, and termination
  • Complete necessary documentation for accurate and timely billing for client services
  • Provide psychoeducation to patient, families, referents, and community organizations
  • Provide care coordination including discharge planning
  • Provide on-call phone coverage for patient coaching
  • Provide clinical supervision (non-administrative) to graduate level mental health practitioners in compliance with HCMC guidelines and regulatory guidelines (e.g., licensing boards, state regulations, etc.)
  • Assist in maintaining standards for clinic accreditation by health management organizations and state licensure/ certification
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications


  • Meet the criteria for a "Mental Health Professional" by the State of Minnesota or be within 6 months of securing this licensure status
  • Master's degree in a behavioral health field
  • Must be a licensed mental health professional per Department of Human Services - LMFT, LICSW, or LPCC, OR meet one of the following:
  • LPC< LAMFT or LGSW will be considered if able to gain licensure within 6 months and qualify as DHS clinical trainee. In addition, appropriate clinical supervision must be provided to work in a clinical trainee role doing mental health professional work as defined by DHS



Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in providing psychotherapy groups, working with persons living with mental illnesses and addictions
  • LADC Certification
  • Trained or experienced in Integrated Dual Diagnosis Therapy
  • Experience in group, individual, or family psychotherapy with parents or families with young children
