The Role:

Crisis Prevention Institute's Global Professional Instructor (GPI) will be responsible for delivering Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and associated programs in a consistent, high-quality manner, while creating a superior customer experience for training participants. The GPI is responsible for supporting CPI Certified Instructors with preparation, facilitation, and management of the classroom environment while delivering CPI training programs in standardized training formats. The GPI interacts with program participants and their designees' and is required to maintain frequent communication (internal and external to CPI).

What You Get To Do Everyday:



  • Prepare and provide CPI training programs, including facilitation of ancillary programs and presentations.
  • Maintain proficiency in training CPI programs.
  • Serve as a resource to Certified Instructors by providing consultation and needed resources.
  • Assure accurate and efficient documentation of GPI-led training programs (i.e. program summary forms, and competency testing documentation, registration materials, etc.).
  • Advise on emerging trends and issues related to industries served by CPI programs.
  • Attend and participate in professional developmental activities.
  • Perform other position-related duties as assigned.


You Need to Have:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Two Years or more of experience in the human services field.
  • First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Highly organized, customer focused, and solution-oriented
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to be approachable to meet the needs of a diverse participant population
  • Possess basic computer and internet technology skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and perform specific physical intervention techniques
