Summary of the Job: Responsible for ensuring all debit cards are entered and maintained in to the appropriate systems on a daily basis. Available for On-Call rotation. Essential Functions:
- Ensure approved card requests are processed timely and accurately within Bank policies and guidelines.
- Perform card maintenance and research requests from internal and external customers within approved SLA timeframes.
- Daily, monthly, quarterly reconciliations of card accounts and card management systems.
- Maintain proper licensing, regulatory, and compliance requirements with appropriate parties including, but not limited to, the Card Associations.
- Maintain vendor relationships.
- Actively collaborate with diverse individuals and teams to solve problems, market new products, promote card usage, and implement various projects involving cards.
- Continual examination, development, and improvement on processes and products related to cards.
Additional Functions:
- Perform routine duties with minimal supervision.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Perform other duties assigned.
Necessary Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write simple & advanced correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Advanced personal computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Required Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); two to four years payments or related technical field preferred and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Activity/Dexterity:
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers. Works with fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
Physical Environment Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to visit other offices, conference rooms, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and telephone.
- Constantly positions self to operate on a computer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with other people throughout each day. Must be able to exchange accurate information when conversing.
Working Conditions/Environment:
- Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
- Moderate noise (e.g. business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
Work Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- On-Call rotation will require shift work and availability on weekend and holiday
- Available for overtime as needed.
