As an Engineering Technologist, you'll use technical knowledge and skills to design, develop, and implement solutions to engineering problems while providing technical support, conducting experiments and tests.

What you'll do:

- Develop, test, and manage engineering systems, such as mechanical, electrical, electronic, and computer systems

- You will also provide engineering support to other engineers, collaborate with other departments, and create technical reports.

- Analyze customer needs and develop engineering solutions to meet those needs

- Conduct research to develop and improve processes

- Design and develop engineering models, diagrams, and schematics

- Identify and troubleshoot system problems

- Work with other professionals to coordinate and integrate engineering systems

- Provide technical support regarding engineering systems

- Maintain engineering records and reports

- Install and repair electrical wiring, including cutting and stripping wire and insulating electrical connections.

- Inspect and service the electrical components.

- Run tests on equipment to locate issues and install needed replacement parts.

- Makes recommendations to management and engineering for improvement of preventative maintenance practices.

- Ability to repair and build electrical harnesses with a variety of different connector types

- Builds and tests prototypes to specifications.

- Calibrates tools and electrical or electronic equipment and instruments to test specification and written instructions to verify system operations.

- Orders materials for projects and electronic/electrical shop supplies.

- Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.

- Thorough knowledge of electronic/electrical circuit, instrumentation and control systems.

- 5 years or more of relevant experience

- Ability to read, understand and interpret electrical blueprints / Schematics

- Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic equipment and test systems.

- Your degree/diploma in electrical or electronics engineering technology or Journeyman electrician; or equivalent.

- Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.

- Ability to meet US Persons requirements per ITAR.
