Job Summary:

Pediatric Cardiology Instructor position (full-time, 100% appointment) within the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Cardiology. Key Responsibilities:
- APP coverage of all Heart Transplant patients, both inpatient and outpatient. Patient care responsibilities conducted in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Exercise independent decision-making related to clinical management of patient population, as well as provide comprehensive case management for a group of primary patients.
- Exercise leadership in managing plan of care including current and ongoing needs for patients in all phases of heart transplant process.
- Assume on-call responsibilities (during work hours and off work hours) for heart transplant team.

Qualifications:
|
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Masters' degree or higher, appropriate to the program
- Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Certified
- Acute Care Certification (NP only)
- Current Advanced Provider Colorado License
- Current Certifications in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Minimum 3 Years' Experience in Pediatric Healthcare
- Prescriptive authority or eligible for certification.
Condition of Employment:
- Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
- Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: Instructor: $106,000 to $138,500, dependent upon years of experience The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
