Job Summary:
This position will provide administrative assistance to the Department of Psychiatry's Vice Chair of Patient Services and the Ambulatory Medical Director at the School of Medicine and Public Health. This position interfaces and serves as a liaison with Department of Psychiatry staff, faculty, and leadership, UW Health Behavioral Health Staff, UW Health Administration, School of Medicine and Public Health Administration, and outside administrators (local, regional, and national). This position will also provide limited administrative support for Department of Psychiatry Clinical Faculty including license renewal, compliance tracking, and maintaining up-to-date call/paging calendars across scheduling platforms. Responsibilities: Performs administrative duties to support providers, staff, services, and unit programs. May serve as the primary contact or customer service representative and subject matter expert. Tracks, prioritizes, organizes, and completes multiple ongoing clinical, research or academic projects. Requires Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) knowledge or training.
