Job Description

Are you ready for a new opportunity? Our Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in the Company's efforts to develop, implement, and enhance environmental compliance processes in accordance with regulatory requirements and drive process for continuous improvement. This position will be part of a team that supports air-related compliance efforts and project planning and permitting activities.

You will:



  • Support environmental compliance and project permitting activities
  • Be responsible for Operating Programs, Federal and State air permits, emissions including greenhouse gas (GHG), and working with Operations in support of leak management initiatives), regulatory tracking and reporting, data quality assurance
  • Serve as an internal environmental consultant to support project permitting and compliance.
  • Provide environmental compliance primarily focused on air, projects and permitting operations support
  • Support and participate in assessments/audits, field studies, monitoring progress of environmental projects, and oversees contractors in the field.
  • Support the development and maintain project metrics for project tracking and analysis
  • Prepare and deliver reports to all levels of management, clients and sponsors to measure and explain environmental performance results.
  • Represent the company externally at leadership events, conferences, regulatory engagements, etc.



You have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or relative technical, or scientific discipline (STEM)
  • Minimum of 5 years of related environmental compliance work experience. .
  • Experience in program management and program analytics with critical thinking skills.
  • Professional registration as an Engineer, Geologist, Project Management Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or Registered Environmental Manager, preferred.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, relevant Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, regulatory analytical methods, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated experience with environmental regulations and regulatory engagement preferred. Experience with field work, monitoring, report writing and analysis, e-GGRT and regulatory negotiation.
  • General knowledge of natural gas industry operations and regulations preferred.
