Job Details

Our 10-week paid internship program has been developed to provide students with hands-on experience to learn more about the Healthcare industry and Health Systems and Government Services. This internship program will provide you with professional development and networking opportunities. You will learn about the Guiding Principles of our culture but most importantly, can become a key contributor in the future talent pipeline of Cencora.

Start Date: June 2, 2025

End Date: August 8, 2025

Location: Conshohocken, PA

This internship will offer the candidate the opportunity to learn strong competitive knowledge at both the broad level (e.g. services provided by competitors) and the specific customer level (e.g., what is the specific competitive environment for this customer) allowing for targeted and appropriate application of AB programs/solutions/services. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the HGS sales cycle and process, the value we provide through strategic relationships with our customers, build business acumen, and work closely with subject matter experts across a wide range of business functional areas. This internship sits in the sales team for the Health Systems and Government Services unit in our organization.

As an intern, your responsibilities will include the following:

* Cross collaboration with Health Systems business units such as American Health Packaging, Triose and Specialty Contracting

* Owning a project start to finish, keeping the project executive in the loop with timely updates

* Traveling onsite and assisting in distribution centers to understand the core of our business

* Assisting the sales team in various proposals, deal reviews, business connects with customers

Requirements:

  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree
  • Does not require sponsorship to work in the US, now or in the future
  • Ability to work well on an independent basis with strong organizational skills; self-starter
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
  • May require occasional travel to onsite meetings or training
  • Demonstrates initiative in their own professional development and business curiosity through keeping abreast of the industry and its changes by utilizing industry information and company literature.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong willingness to learn, including accepting and implementing feedback from various sources
  • Capacity to learn from and apply a wide variety of disciplines to AB customers
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Up-to-date knowledge of presentation software and equipment; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
