JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Are you a "people person"? Do you enjoy interacting with customers? The University Fitness Center at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA is seeking part-time customer service-oriented personnel to support its front desk operation. Scheduling flexibility to include nights and weekends. Front Desk Associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members, guests, and visitors, both in-person and over the phone. Duties include but are not limited to monitor access to the facility, checking for proper identification. Perform cash, check, and credit card transactions accurately. Use online computer software for member check-ins, updating member accounts as needed. Conduct new prospect facility tours. Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area. Answer phones, field questions, and route calls in keeping with the Front Desk standards. Schedule/Confirm appointments. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, a committed team player, reliable, and possess the ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
