Inova Children's Heart Center - Director of Fetal Cardiology

Inova LJ Murphy Children's Hospital is seeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist to serve as Director of Fetal Cardiology to support our rapidly growing team within Inova Children's Heart Center.

Responsibilities:

• Develop outreach fetal cardiac screening opportunities throughout Northern Virginia working with a growing OB and MFM network.
• This position will work closely with our MFM and neonatology colleagues through the Inova Health Care System.
• Lead and mentor a team of pediatric cardiologists and fetal sonographers performing fetal echocardiograms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance innovative approaches to fetal cardiology care.
• Facilitate and strengthen community outreach and advocacy initiatives by fostering collaborative relationships with MFMs and OBs in the DMV.
• Maintain a positive workplace culture that attracts, retains and motivates staff, and empowers their ability to impact decision making.
• Routine patient care will include outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation, supervision of APPs.
• This position will work with the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and Heart Center leadership to execute personal and programmatic goals focused on the fundamentals of extraordinary care: safety, quality, patient experiences, access, and stewardship.
