Description
Are you intrigued by an internship that focuses on safely guiding the transformation of the world's energy future? If so, we have just the opportunity you're searching for! As an intern, you will be an integral part of the Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Environment, Safety, Health, and Quality organization. Your role will entail learning about air permitting and the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) as they relate to Research and Development (R&D) projects at INL. You will review Air Permit Applicability Determination (APAD) documentation and associated Environmental Compliance Permits (ECPs) to develop a cross-referenced spreadsheet. This document will list the current dates of the APADs and ECPs, as well as the corresponding organization, facility, and laboratory details. The aim of this project is to provide a comprehensive reference tool for accurately updating ECPs. It will clarify which APAD is linked to which project and vice versa, identify any APADs that require review and updates based on the current R&D project scopes, and enable quick sorting of APADs by organization, facility, equipment, and laboratory. This team operates on a 9x80 work schedule and is based onsite at our Idaho Falls campus. Qualifications
