Job Title: Procurement and Supply Chain Manager Location(s): Seattle, WA The Procurement and Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes for a high-volume manufacturing facility. The manager will lead a team of buyers and planners to strategically source, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts and inventory to optimize supply chain performance and minimize disruptions.
Key Responsibilities: * Develop and manage the strategic procurement and supply chain plan to support the company's manufacturing objectives and growth * Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted partnerships with the organization's top priority vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable supply and responsiveness * Lead the procurement team in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers to expand the vendor base and increase supply chain resilience * Negotiate favorable contracts with vendors, including pricing, lead times, delivery terms, and flexibility/responsiveness * Oversee materials and inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess or shortage * Analyze supply chain performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement process enhancements * Collaborate cross-functionally with production, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement and supply chain activities * Manage the procurement team, including goal-setting, training, and performance evaluations * Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, or a related field * 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement and/or supply chain management, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment * Expertise in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and inventory optimization * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve supply chain issues * Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Proficient with supply chain management software and data analysis tools Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
