Cardiac Technologist

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs ultrasounds with efficiency and accuracy. Must have a good knowledge of human anatomy and ultrasound physics. Ultrasound exams including: echocardiogram, stress echocardiogram, echo with microbubble, echo with contrast. Maintains confidentiality and adheres to FHCP policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, skills and experience:

* High School Graduate or Equivalent.

* Must have attended an AMA or CAHEP accredited ultrasound school.

* Must be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.

* Must have a minimum of one year experience as a Cardiac Technologist.

* Knowledge of EHR/PACS/CVPACS/RIS preferred.

* Current professional rescuer CPR/BLS certification or required during probationary period.

* Clear English communication skills, written and oral.

* Must have a valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation for required travel to facilities.
