CAMSE promotes research in theoretical economics and econometrics, with a focus on fundamental and basic research, as well as applications to normative and policy questions. The Center is looking for a postdoctoral candidate who will interact with faculty and students working on game theory, mechanism design, general equilibrium theory, decision theory and other active areas of economic theory. This position comes with freedom to do research in any area of economic theory, and with an opportunity to collaborate with Berkeley faculty and students. The postdoctoral scholar will also have access to a broad and vibrant interdisciplinary atmosphere at UC Berkeley, with potential collaborations with scholars in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. CAMSE faculty organize a weekly workshop, as well as informal research meetings, that welcome the participation of the CASME postdoctoral scholar.
