Your Role at Baxter This is where your work saves lives As a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer at Baxter, you will contribute directly to our mission to empower clinicians and health systems with tools to make a difference in patients and clinicians' lives. It's ambitious work-and you're not on your own. You will play a key role in the full life cycle of products within the Front Line Care business unit. This role bears key responsibility with the Patient Monitoring portfolio as a member of a multi-disciplinary development team for new products. You will understand and define customer needs; product functionality and performance requirements; product architecture, constraints, and trade-offs; and design and interface requirements of new products being developed. We are looking for someone to lead engineering team members on the overall design of the final product and hold responsibility for all system engineering activities to ensure a safe and effective product. Your Team You will be a part of the Patient Monitoring team, which supports both new product development projects and sustainment of currently marketed products. You will work with a cross functional team that consists of other engineering disciplines, operations, and quality assurance. We work together to develop, test, and launch products that improve patient care. We encourage partnership, collaboration and prioritize building relationships with each other. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $120,000 to $165,000 plus an annual incentive bonus, commission target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position.
