Job Overview:

The Assembly Cell Operator is responsible for assembling all pumps with excellent workmanship and efficiency. Join us in making Alsip, IL an outstanding place to work where both our team and our company thrive!

Responsibilities:

*Use manual dexterity to assemble small components.
*Perform operations and adjust testing equipment to maintain excellent efficiency and flow of work.
*Perform work such as fitting parts to close tolerances, adjusting for working and proper operation and performs to Standard Work Instructions.
*Participates in '5 Whys' problem-solving exercises and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
*Embrace IR Business Systems tools to accomplish duties and drive continuous improvements.
*Be aware and awake to company safety procedures and standards to insure individual and collective safety, in addition to avoiding unnecessary risk to oneself, co-workers, contractors, customers, and property. Be a stand for safety having the courage to call forth and report unsafe practices.

Requirements:

*Two years of assembly experience preferred, but strong mechanical aptitude may also be acceptable.
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*Good understanding of assembly operation and capable of reading and following standard work.
*Must be capable of using special measuring equipment effectively and capable of working from blueprints, drawings, charts, specifications, and/or verbal instructions.
*Capable of performing work such as fitting parts to close tolerances.
*Ability to work with minimum supervision and work well with others.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent past work record (performance, attendance and attitude)
Soldering experience, a plus.

*This position will be fully site based at our facility in Alsip, IL.

Pay Range:

*Starting pay will range between $20.43 - $21.43 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.
The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
