Overview The Decision Support Analyst II supports the design, development, and implementation of reports, datasets, and dashboards supporting NCH finance and revenue cycle work streams. The Decision Support Analyst II will analyze complex datasets, communicate timely and accurate results to business leaders, detect and investigate data anomalies, and uncover patterns or trends that can drive change. Analyze healthcare utilization and expense trends.
Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Preferred fields of study include Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Information Management, Statistics, Finance, or Computer Science. EXPERIENCE Minimum 3 years of experience analyzing healthcare data. Epic access to care and revenue cycle data experience preferred. Experience creating dashboards in a Business Intelligence tool. Power BI preferred. Familiarity with hospital coding systems (including ICD, CPT, MSDRG, APRDRG) as well as experience using medical terminology. Experience working in an agile environment. SKILLS Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Note frequency as Constantly (67-100%), Frequently (34-66%) and Occasionally (0-33%) for each requirement. Also note any lifting requirements with pound limit.Sitting - Frequently Stooping - Occasionally Standing - Occasionally Talking on the phone or in person. FrequentlyTyping on a keyboard - FrequentlyWalking. Occasionally Position requires the ability to interact effectively with customers and information systems personnel across the organization.
