Job Summary Job Description Objective The Electronics Technician I is responsible for testing automotive components, developing component test systems, and assisting in various electronic design and development activities. These functions are carried out with excellence and with thoroughness. This position demands attention to detail, accuracy, and technical competence. It also requires some knowledge of automotive electronics and automotive specifications as well as knowledge of test procedures required for automotive parts. Lastly, it requires an efficient work ethic while maintaining a high level of overall quality. Experience: 1+ years Education: Associate's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience Certifications: IPC J-STD-001, IPC- 7711, IPC- 7721 preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Travel Required: Minimal Physical Demand (Special Considerations): While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, kneel/squat, bend, and push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally, they must crawl, handle, and push/pull/lift over 25lbs.
