This position reports to

Sales Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
The work model for the role is remote. #LI-Remote.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Houston, TX
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
* Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
* Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
* Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role
  • Associate's degree in technology with combined 5+ years of experience with process analytical applications either a customer, selling, technician or project manager.
  • Solid understanding of Analytics including but not limited to CGA, GC's, FTIR, CWA and Tuneable Diode Lasers. Working knowledge of instrumentation is also an asset.
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Up to 50% domestic travel required, international maybe once per year for training
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $92,500 and $171,500 annually and is eligible for our Sales Incentive Plan and Motus Car Program.
