As an NDT II Inspector, you'll perform accurately and in compliance with the industry standards and regulations while being familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used. What you'll do: - Set up and calibrate non-destructing testing equipment in accordance with the industry requirements. - Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection. - Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations. - Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results. - Organize and report test results. - May instruct and supervise others. - Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management. Preferred Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college is desirable. - ASNT NDT Certification, or equivalent certifiable training. Candidate must present proof of class and/or OJT training. - Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections. - Mechanical aptitude.
