Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Security professional to join our aviation program. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of aviation operations, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government security protocols, risk management, aviation operations, and the government's 700 series ICDs

Examples of duties include but not limited to:

    Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols for aviation operations in compliance with government requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with the client to enhance security measures and response strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents and trends, preparing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and support to staff on security best practices, emergency response procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in security audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established security standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of incident response plans for security breaches or emergencies.
  • Serve as a liaison with security personnel and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and coordination during operations.


Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Experience with security risk assessment methodologies and security management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion in sensitive situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in security management (e.g., PSP, CPP) or related areas.
  • Familiarity with advanced security technologies and systems used in aviation.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Aviation Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in security operations, preferably within the aviation industry or government sector.
  • Prior customer experience
  • TS/SCI with poly
  • 8 years of Program Security experience

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
