As part of the commitment to provide a diverse and inclusive educational experience, UC Riverside supports nine Ethnic and Gender Program offices that provide support to our diverse student body and create opportunities for learning about differences. The Asian Pacific Student Programs (APSP) Program Coordinator provides support and development services for UC Riverside's undergraduate community and organizes events and activities designed to raise the general student body's awareness and appreciation of the Asian American and Pacific Islander experience. Under the general supervision of the Director, the Program Coordinator supervises the Asian American and Pacific Islander Women's Program, APSP Roundtables, and assists in leadership development activities. The Program Coordinator works with the APSP staff to identify student interests, issues, and concerns and uses this information to develop and implement appropriate programs and activities. The Program Coordinator also serves as an adviser to various student organizations, including the Asian Pacific Islander Student Advisory Council. In addition, the Program Coordinator prepares materials for APSP's website and weekly newsletter, and prepares written reports and evaluations on events and activities.
The salary range for the Program Coordinator is $56,000 - $96,400.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $60,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
