Strongbridge has an engaging opportunity for a talented BI and Analytics professional to support the Department of Transportation and the public to help ensure safety on the nation's railways. The candidate will work with a talented team of data engineers on an enterprise level business intelligence system. Candidates must be clearable for a Public Trust Position.

Responsibilities



  • Create data models and work with stakeholders to assess their analytical needs and provide analytical solutions.
  • Collect and analyze raw data, improving the data quality while working with stakeholders.
  • Interpret trends in the data sets.
  • Use Azure Synapse Analytics as an enterprise analytics service.
  • Utilize SQL and Python to create data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure tools.



Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field- 5+ years experience as a data analyst.
  • 3+ year's experience in data modelling and pipelining tools.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret raw data from various sources.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with other programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes.
  • Experience in Azure Cloud using Azure Data Lake Services, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, SQL Managed Instance etc.



Desired



  • Experience with Azure AI Studio.
  • Experience utilizing Databricks.
  • Experience with Collibra.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.



Pay Range: $115k-$140k

The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
