SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Job Summary

The Software Developer supports a team of Developers, DBAs, and Network Engineers executing the customers technical requirements. This position will support the Navy's NSWC Corona.

As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company meetings, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend and backend software as part of a fast-paced agile team.
• Independently complete development tasks using C#, Angular CLI, JavaScript, Docker Containers, HTML/CSS, JSON and related Web technologies.
• Participate in the Scrum development process and contribute positively to the development cycle.
• Take ownership and develop software in accordance with software engineering principles.
• Adhere to test standards, develop testable code and conduct unit tests and behavioral testing.
• Participate in QA and code review tasks.

Basic Qualifications

• BS Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated 2+ years' experience with C#, Angular CLI, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, HTML
• Demonstrated experience with Git, NPM and CI/CD technologies.
• Demonstrated experience working with RDBMS - SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Security+ certification or ability to gain it within the first 6 months on the job.
• Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Windows Server Administration
• Cloud management - Experience with Azure, Console Apps, App Services, IaaS and PaaS products.
• DevOps experience - Implement automated CI/CD pipeline for complex projects.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
