Your Role With Us:Performs and documents preventive maintenance, OS patching, inspections on assigned Clinical Systems Documents all operator induced Clinical system problems and follow-up corrective activity on work order.Instructs individuals and groups of Clinical system users on proper and safe use on an informal ad hoc basis.Schedules formal in-service training programs, coordinates, and attends vendor training; provides follow-up to vendor training.Research, develop and teach operator-training programs as required.Checks with vendors on application versions and updates as appropriatePartners with IS security on risk assessments with medical devices. Also ensures Medical Device Security standards are set w/in the Salem Health Enterprise Works with vendors, OEM's, FDA, other regulatory bodies on recalls, alerts, etc. that affect Clinical Systems and documents as appropriate w/in the work order system. Recommends or establishes inventory of replacement parts and accessories for systems.Collects information on lifecycle of medical equipment/systems, and makes recommendations on replacement. Works with EPIC team to plan, implement, troubleshoot, verify device to epic patient record is working as intended. Evaluates, recommends, and reviews modifications to clinical equipment maintenance per The Joint Commission guidelines and Hospital AEM program.Participates in projects or as a technical lead in projects providing SME and/or coordination between departments to deliver project objectives. Resolves customer complaints and work collaboratively across the organization.Participates and/or Leads in the selection and installation of new clinical systems. Provides on the job training for all roles that support clinical systems as necessary for maximum uptime. Provides in-service training for medical staff and clinical personnel on the operation of clinical systems. Identifies and reports unsafe or malfunctioning systems and unsafe operational practices to department management. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following fields: Biomedical clinical systems; Server Administration in a Large Enterprise-Level Network; OR Application support that involved mobile, desktop, server, and/or medical devices.;7-10 years of experience in any of the above areas strongly preferred.Experience with EPIC EMR and device integration preferred.Ongoing certification in one or more of the following required: CCNAMicrosoft Certified Professional/Microsoft Certified Expert Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator/Microsoft Azure AdministratorVMware OEM certifications on life safety equipment.Knowledge of CMS, TJC, FDA, or other regulatory bodies and role will need to adhere to Salem Health life safety regulatory requirements.Lifecycle management of clinical technologies and hardware components.Competency with TCP/IP Networking, routing protocols, (OR) windows server infrastructure required. Competency with most of the following device types: routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, security appliances, access points required. (OR) Competency with most of the following: active directory, OS patching, backups, server migration, and VMWare required. Competency with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and applications required. Troubleshooting skills to include some of the following: session level debugging and interpreting data flow, packet/protocol analyzers, debug logs, SNMP's, etc. to find and remedy application and network performance issue. (OR) Troubleshooting skills to include the ability to find and remedy server performance issues. (OR)Competency with application that involve multiple tier to support and implement.
