WGL - Program Manager, Strategic Initiatives

Responsible for leading and driving the successful execution of strategic initiatives across the organization. This role will work closely with executive leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and implement strategic initiatives that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives. This role will also require direct project management of high-profile non-core initiatives that do not have an existing business owner.

Tasks and Responsibilities
* Identify strategic initiatives that align with the organization's strategic direction.
* Evaluate and prioritize initiatives that best support the organization's objectives and available resources.
* Lead and manage strategic initiative programs from inception to completion.
* Project Management:
* Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, and team members.
* Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
* Bachelor's Degree business administration, project management, or a related field preferred
* Master's Degree preferred
* 7+ Years of program management experience with demonstrated success leading teams. required
* PMP required
* Proven experience in strategic planning, program management, or consulting.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
* Knowledge of gas utility industry trends and best practices preferred.

We offer a competitive salary range of $116,000 to $159,500 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
