Business Systems Analyst

GENERAL PURPOSE

Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and RapidResponse planning software to sustain and enhance business practices in line with the MillerKnoll vision. Ensure precise system data and offer comprehensive support, diagnosis, and resolution for end users. Engage in development projects, and create and maintain process documentation (databases, work instructions, etc.). Act as a business partner within MillerKnoll entities to deliver accurate corporate solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manage user expectations, prioritize tasks appropriately, and resolve schedules and resource conflicts to meet deadlines.
Supervise external consultants to ensure developed applications align with MillerKnoll standards.
Oversee data archiving processes within the assigned area.
Participate in the analysis, development, testing, and documentation of new and existing functionalities.
Engage in focus teams to address issues or implement new functionalities.
Collaborate with MillerKnoll IT as the area owner of functional LES, ERP, or RapidResponse planning software programs and processes.
Provide additional support as needed to achieve business objectives.
Offer periodic on-call weekend and off-hours support.
Mentor and train users routinely.
Support project management efforts.
Develop solutions to enhance service reliability, contribute to corporate EVA, and ensure equitable outcomes for business partners.
Partner with business units to support, develop, and implement technology systems and processes.
Perform additional responsibilities as required to meet business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

Bachelor degree in Business or related field preferred.

Five years hands on experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Specialized Supply Chain Planning and execution training classes completed with proven ability to apply learning in related Business Systems.

Skills and Abilities

Must have a working knowledge and understanding of ERP, configuration, and planning system processes and tools, typically acquired through a minimum of two years of experience with supply chain systems.

Familiarity with and ability to utilize report writers and other system software packages.

Ability to convey information clearly and understandably to both users and systems personnel.

Must possess an understanding of the total IT responsibilities and requirements within the functional area.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

Must understand, support, and follow MillerKnoll Performance System concepts and initiatives.

Strong understanding of manufacturing, scheduling, purchasing, and engineering systems and practices.

Must be able to work with minimal direct supervision, demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills to influence decision-making without direct authority.

Ability to effectively use office automation, communication software, and tools currently employed in the MillerKnoll office environment.

Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
