Overall Purpose

This role oversees and optimizes daily operational processes and leads projects focused on developing and deploying data-driven reports, procedural documentation, and business process improvements.

Essential Functions

  • Process improvement and operational efficiency: Oversees the coordination, support, and maintenance necessary to ensure the proper and effective communication of business operations and servicing processes and metrics.

  • Formulates, defines, and documents business processes by clearly defining the project scope and objectives through research, benchmarking, and fact finding, leveraging a fundamental understanding of business functions and industry standards.

  • Metric, reporting and process documentation: Participates and supports in the development analysis, planning, administration, and communication of a broad range of business unit projects, processes, and practices

  • Develops and manages standardized business reporting protocols, ensuring data integrity and consistency across various reports and queries while providing valuable insights to internal stakeholders.

  • Establish documentation of processes, guidelines, tools, and training aids required to support business unit.

  • Internal Coordination of Governance Responses: Manages responses to risks, internal audit and regulatory request.

  • Responsible for managing access and security for business unit systems, including associated documentation.

  • Supports the company's commitment to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 or more years of related experience with business operations and process development

  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to frame recommendations for a variety of audiences

  • Proactive self-starter with ability to work independently

  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and tie functional needs to technology solutions

  • Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written. Awesome customer service, organizational, and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations

  • Intellectually curious - seeks to expand knowledge base, retain and share broadly through development of knowledge repositories

  • Complies with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained.

  • Ensures department maintains compliance with internal policies and procedures.

  • Background and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2

  • Strong background in data analytics, with proficiency in using analytics tools and software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, Jira, etc.)

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

The pay scale for this position in:

Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL in USD per year is: $77,000 - $90,000.

New York, NY/ San Francisco, CA in USD per year is: $95,000 - $104,000.

This pay scale is subject to change and is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific candidate, which is always dependent on legitimate factors considered at the time of job offer. Early Warning Services takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining a competitive salary offer, including, but not limited to, the job scope, market rates and geographic location of a position, candidate's education, experience, training, and specialized skills or certification(s) in relation to the job requirements and compared with internal equity (peers).
