Job Summary Under direct supervision the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed following the established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. Responsible for performing a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. A. Education / Training: * High School diploma or GED equivalent. B. Work Experience: * 2 years' patient care experience preferred. C. Certification, Licensure, Registration: * IV certification and/or training preferred. * Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/ Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross. D. Other Qualifications: * Basic computer and phone skills, able to demonstrate good customer care skills. * Knowledge of medical terminology - preferred.
