We invite you to join our Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas Case Management team as a Supervisor of Case Management. As a supervisor of case management, you will... Responsible for oversight of the activities and functions of a department. Provides functional expertise to staff and leadership. Ensures effective use of system resources. Participates in standards of practice and process improvement activities. Participates in hiring, oversees daily productivity, and creates staffing schedule. Ensures policy and procedures are followed by staff. Qualifications Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: BSN preferred. Knowledge of health plan benefit coverage and regulations Certification of Case Management. EPIC experience. ECIN or All scripts experience. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Two years of experience in a lead or supervisory role. Minimum of 2 years' experience in case management/utilization review, discharge planning, and Millman/InterQual criteria usage. Proficiency in MS Office software, and ability to quickly learn a variety of case management systems. Required Certification/Registration: CA RN license. Current BLS Healthcare from American Heart Association.
