Established in 1998 by Cheryl Everitt, O.D., 20/20 Vision Associates Optometry is a multi-doctor private practice that aims to provide the highest level of eyecare to the whole family. The team of experts offers general optometric care, pediatric eye care, specialty contact lens fitting, medical management of glaucoma, sports vision, low vision, neuro-rehabilitation vision training, headache, and digital vision syndrome treatment with Nurolenses.

What you'll do:

Working as a part-time Optometrist, you'll care for a broad range of patients in a modern, preventative, and technology-driven eye care center using the latest diagnostic techniques and products. You'll have access to advanced technology, including digital phoropters, OCT, wide-field fundus photography, tonometry, MPOD, visual fields, and other technologies supporting ocular specialties. You'll work alongside a highly trained staff that will support you throughout examinations. On average, each doctor performs about 17 comprehensive exams daily in 20-minute slot increments. The schedule for this position is Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
