Typically has the following skills or abilities: Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties Working Conditions The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. The above information on this description had been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
