Job Summary

Recruits youth and caregiver participation to the ABCD RECOVER study and obtain consent and assent from those families who wish to enroll. Upon participant enrollment, performs protocol procedures such as administering remote survey links, shipping home testing kits, and collecting saliva samples from new enrollees. Facilitates retention by developing and implementing participant retention systems to ensure continued subject participation in the ABCD Study. Visits families at their homes to conduct protocols.

  • Recruits, enrolls, and retains ABCD participants into the RECOVER study.
  • Obtains child and legal guardian verbal assent and written consent. Interacts with non-English speakers of Spanish. Administers surveys and collects biospecimen collection from participants in their homes.
  • Responds to participant calls, emails, texts, and voicemails. Keeps in constant communication with participants and engages in excellent customer service.
  • Manages the community liaison board and increase ABCD community engagement.
  • Updates, verifies, and modifies information in the system.
  • Provides home testing kits to families.
  • Develops and implements participant retention systems.
  • Participates in the study's national meetings.
  • Provides staff support in the day to day research activities of the project.
  • Manages resources and processes to ensure that the goals and objectives of the project and functions are accomplished.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience.

Desired Qualifications

Two years of experience working with children, adolescents and their parents.
