Competitive Weekly Pay Period Join Our Team as a Chemical Engineer Co-Op! Are you passionate about chemical engineering? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our Product Engineering - Polymer Products function. As a Chemical Engineer Co-Op, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. The Polymer Products operations at S&C are a world leader in manufacturing medium voltage epoxy insulation products. The engineering team at Polymer Products supports the production operations team to achieve the yield goals through process controls,mold designs, and trainings; seeks continuous improvement with manufacturing processes, mold designs, tools, and equipment through improvement and capital projects; addresses and resolves quality concerns observed with manufactured products through problem-solving activities; and supports new product/process development through design, procurement, installation, and startup. The candidate considered for this position will work on-site at S&C Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois supporting the Polymer Products process engineering team and report to the Assistant Manager-Process Engineering.
